Health, wealth, and relationships compound — the more you invest today, the more you’ll reap tomorrow.

Warren Buffet built a fortune because he understood the power of time. He was patient enough to wait for his investments to compound. Every successful business owner I know invested in a solid foundation for their business before chasing growth hacks.

Overnight sensations fizzle faster than Milli Vanilli because, even in the shallowest of industries, people see through vaporware.

I talk about future-proofing your business quite often. I also walk that talk.

2023 was a foundational year for me

As you may have read in my 6-month and 1-year recaps, my growth hasn’t been out of this world. I’ve been in marketing long enough to know exactly why that’s happening: I’m not into quick wins, growth hacks, or fast-tracking your success — which is what our brains are wired to crave and to fall for.

If I were, my growth would have been out of this world.

Deep down, we all want to know there’s an easier, faster way to get what we want. In my line of business, that’s money or fame. Usually both.

I’ve been in marketing long enough to know another thing: very few things can be fast-tracked and no journey is made of shortcuts alone.

So I play the long game. I could teach you the latest hack to get 10k followers on LinkedIn overnight. Or $10k in the bank. But my newsletters would be obsolete weeks after I publish them.

Plus, those hacks would only apply to 1% of you.

Whenever I get frustrated about my slow growth (yes, it happens even if you understand it’s how it has to work), I get reminded that my core audience trusts me. They’ve told me so repeatedly.

They told me they bought the most recent product I launched without even reading the landing page because they trusted I wouldn’t sell them crap.

I worked hard to build that trust — it’s not something you can build by peddling hacks and shortcuts. Can you blame me for not wanting to lose it?

I chose to make 2023 the year I lay down a solid foundation throw slow, strategic growth.

This is why you don’t see me pushing my products down your throat or FOMO-ing you into buying them. I tell you in advance when I run discounts and when I increase my prices, so you can get the best possible deal. I may lose a couple hundred dollars because that’s not what sustainable businesses are built on.

Your trust is worth more to me than that.

My plans for 2024 — the scalablity year

I spent 2023 growing my audience and my trust capital. I did the things that don’t scale, so I can build replicable, scalable systems for everything, from audience growth to sales.

2024 will be the year I scale my business in multiple directions. I can finally answer “when’s your high-ticket offer coming?” It’s coming in March and it will involve us working together, side by side, to build/grow/scale your business.

Besides this offer, you’ll see a few other things from me:

  • The Audience Accelerator workshop in early February. There will be limited seats available, so I highly recommend you join the waitlist to be the first to learn when it goes live.
